You're a SmashGrrrl, so you've no doubt had and heard the experiences of what it's like for women in fields traditionally dominated by men... from the hilarious to the heartbreaking, and everything in between. We'd like to share your stories as a way to shed light on the experiences of SmashGrrrls, to encourage, laugh, learn and grow together. But most of all, to celebrate the courage, resilience, and wit of women navigating non-traditional fields.

We hope you'll share YOUR stories! The sprawling epics and the succinct anecdotes. The hilarious and the heartwrenching. The sucker punch, the slight, the pick-me-up. The one-liner and the one-pager. The beautiful, hideous, ridiculous, quizzical, inspiring, surprising, heartwarming, and shocking. No identifiers will be included (unless requested) so let this be the cathartic outlet you've been looking for.

Share your story by any format you like: Write it out in an email, tell it on the phone, send an anonymous handmade postcard by mail, create a graphic story in canva, send a link to a voice recording file... whatever you like! Email us if you need help with this. We'll compile them into something beautiful and share-able (examples below with more to come!)

Be sure to include: your position, field of work or play, and if you like, how you felt or handled things, and the country or part of the world you're in. The aim is not to indulge in pessimism. Rather, to authentically share and acknowledge our experiences, and to gain insight from how we're handling things and moving the needle toward a more equitable world.
